An opportunity has arisen to appoint a new Team Lead Physio for the Heart Centre. Encompassing the Cardiothoracic Critical Care unit, Cardiology ward and Rapid Assessment Unit and the Cardiothoracic ward, the role offers a varied and challenging case mix leading to diverse and engaging work on a day to day basis. The ACC group is made up of Physio's and OT's who strive to deliver high quality therapy and rehabilitation to patients across 3 ICU's and Cardiac Services. The group is split into teams, one of which is led by this post. The group is clinically and academically progressive and is able to draw upon the knowledge of advanced clinicians and clinical academics. It operates as a part of the cohesive multidisciplinary teams on the respective units. This post will also form part of the leadership group of the ACC group, and will work particularly closely with the Clinical Lead Therapist and Team Lead Occupational Therapist.
