The Clinical Networks have a national mandate to deliver on key priorities within national policy programmes for transformational change in CVD, Stroke, Diabetes and Respiratory. We are seeking to appoint a consultant level lead with acute respiratory care experience for the South West region Respiratory Clinical Network, on a 2 PAs per week (0.2 WTE) basis, for up to 2 years, with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement. The arrangement would be on a sessional basis with the employing organisation or individual comparable arrangement. As Clinical Lead - Respiratory Clinical Network, you will be accountable for the network outcomes which include: To support the SW Long Term Conditions Network team and South West CVD, Respiratory and Diabetes Regional Board in the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans, advising from a clinical perspective To provide strong clinical leadership and work closely with clinical colleagues, and also identify others who may be able to provide additional clinical expertise to the network To support the monitoring and analysis of the SW Long Term Conditions Network annual deliverables and achievements, including an appraisal of the agreed objectives To take forward and escalate issues identified within the network that may occur and that cannot be resolved locally and require escalation to the South West CVD, Respiratory and Diabetes Regional Board.
