Purpose of the Post Provide specialist counselling to adults with a palliative diagnosis or affected by a loved ones condition. Also, offer support to those who have experienced bereavement from illness, suicide, sudden death, accidents, or murder. Main Duties and Responsibilities Offer emotional support to adults referred by KEMP, including those grieving or supporting someone with a life-limiting condition. Work within palliative care and bereavement settings, addressing mild to moderate mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and life adjustments. Facilitate therapeutic support groups, with some evening and weekend work. Assess clients' readiness for therapy and maintain accurate clinical records.
