Bury South Adult Community team specialise in the working age adults group, based in the Bury St Edmunds Area of Suffolk. We focus on Recovery based interventions and strive to work in partnership with those we care for, their families and their networks. Are you an experienced clinician who is highly motivated with a range of transferrable skills and is enthusiastic about working with adults experiencing mental health difficulties? We want to hear from you! In exchange you will be well supported within a friendly and well established team, with continuing opportunities for you and your ongoing professional development. We are looking for people to join us to continue to build a successful service of Bury South IDT. We aim to continuously improve the service delivery and outcomes as a part of NSFT. Practice as a non-medical prescriber (independent/supplementary prescribing) in accordance with the Trust's non-medical prescribing policy and protocols. Prescribe as an independent/supplementary prescriber within ones scope of competency and in accordance with Trust and national policies. Following national training and a period of actively prescribing as a supplementary prescriber, to work as an independent non-medical prescriber within the designated areas of clinical practice. Be responsible and accountable for the assessment of the patient with diagnosed and undiagnosed conditions and for decisions about the clinical management required including prescribing . Be accountable for accurate mental health clustering of all patients on caseload. Ensure all mental health clustering information is passed onto other Trust teams or services on transfer of patients. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and quality of mental health clustering activity within the team.
