You will be joining one of two friendly multi-disciplinary Oxfordshire teams who are committed to ensuring that the health needs of individuals with a learning disability are equitably met. Oxford Health has a strong Occupational Therapy leadership team who regularly offer training and OT away days. The LD OT team meets regularly to offer peer support, CPD opportunities and training. You will receive regular individual supervision, training and support within this role to help transfer your skills and develop competencies in this specialist field. Manage a caseload of service users with physical and mental health needs, using evidence based/client centred approaches. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. Play an active role in the planning and evaluation of Occupational Therapy Services. You will work as an Occupational Therapist within the Learning Disability multidisciplinary team contributing to the delivery of care pathways for Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Mental health, Epilepsy, Dementia and Complex health.The role will involve carrying out Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment as well as contributing to the generic work and service developments within the team.
