An excellent range of secretarial and administrative skills, including a solid knowledge of medical terminology, audio typing experience and excellent customer care experience are essential. The ability to organise your day and work as part of a team are also required. Applicants should be confident, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties. The applicant should be able to demonstrate an interest to learn new skills. Working with job share IBD Co-ordinator situated at Maidstone Hospital ensuring good communication and team work. Manage telephone enquires. Ensure IBD Nurse clinic letters are typed within 10 day KPI, tests and relevant follow up recorded. Ensure MDT letters are typed and necessary actions instigated. Please note that this role may often attract a high level of applications. Maintain and book all IBD nurse clinics ensuring waiting list is admin validated and cleansed, cancelling clinics sometimes at short notice and reinstating clinics as necessary.
