The successful candidate will run their own clinics and make professionally autonomous decisions for which he/she is accountable. Independently prescribing appropriate medication, evaluating and referring to other specialists and services as necessary. Manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Implement specialist treatment plans for chronic disease patients. Provide advanced specialist care to patients as required. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure read codes are used effectively. Support the team with clinical emergencies. Request and review pathology test/results. Review and update clinical letters and discharge summaries.
