Assisting in the establishment of appropriate systems to manage common chronic medical conditions. Completion of clinically related administrative and non-clinical duties needed for the delivery of service. Refer patients for further opinions and interventions according to Practice protocols. We are offering an exciting opportunity to a Locum GP for 6 sessions per week to cover a period of maternity leave from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025 inclusive . You will be supported by our friendly team of clinicians; 6 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs and a large nursing team. Our clinical team work closely to support each other, and regular team meetings are supported by the practice where our clinicians can communicate and suggest new and improved ways of working. As a locum GP you will provide NHS general medical services to patients on the Practice list through routine and urgent same day appointments. Duties include but not limited to: Face to face appointments, telephone triage of patients, covering duty days, home visits when required, telephone appointments, complete all necessary documentation relating to patient care, including referral letters, medical reports, and certification of sickness.
