The post holder should be comfortable in the use of computer technology, have basic keyboard skills and have the ability to use email. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the multidisciplinary team at G1 Ward (specialist dementia unit) as a full-time permanent (37.5 hours per week) Band 5 Occupational Therapist. We are supportive of flexible working patterns. We are looking forward to hearing from newly qualified Occupational Therapists or existing band 5 Occupational Therapists who have an interest in further developing their clinical expertise within older adults mental health services. As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team you will undertake occupational assessments, formulations and care planning. You will deliver interventions on a 1 to 1 and group basis to achieve therapeutic goals which are appropriate to individual's needs. There is also opportunity to be involved in service development work on the ward including falls prevention, safe wards and carer support. You will be provided with regular supervision from the band 6 Occupational Therapist. Newly qualified occupational therapists will be supported with preceptorship. CPD opportunities are available to enhance your professional development.
