The nursing associate will work independently under the leadership of the registered nurse, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process. Monitor the condition and health needs of people within their care on a continual basis in partnership with service users, families and carers. Contribute to ongoing assessment, recognising when it is necessary to refer to others for reassessment. Perform nursing interventions advocated within the service users care plan.
