This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in world-class lupus research and provide expert care to lupus patients, contributing to clinical excellence and advancing the understanding of autoimmune diseases. The post is a fixed-term of 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Both full time (100%) or part-time (80%) candidates will be considered. Key Responsibilities : Lead and coordinate lupus clinical trials and contribute to ongoing research in the field. Manage complex lupus cases in outpatient clinics. Participate in MDT meetings and collaborate with specialists in lupus management. Assist in managing acute lupus cases, including flare-ups, while working with the multidisciplinary team. Provide patient education, offering guidance on long-term disease management and treatment pathways. Mentor and train junior doctors and medical students. Qualifications :MBBS or equivalent, MRCP (UK) or equivalent, full GMC registration, and specialty training in related fields. Experience in managing autoimmune conditions, particularly lupus, is essential. Experience in clinical research is desirable.
