We are looking for an individual who not only has the knowledge and experience needed for this role, but who works well with individuals and teams across our diverse organisation and ICS and regional systems. To excel in this role, we need an individual who is a great communicator; who is able to work proactively as part of a team, be able to work at pace with competing deadlines and be able to create partnerships and motivate a range of colleagues across wide networks. The post holder will support the EPRR Manager to ensure the Trust is compliant with the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and the NHS England EPRR Framework and Core Standards. The successful candidate will be required to: Work closely with all Care Groups to ensure business continuity plans are developed to a high standard. This includes monitoring annual reviews, training and exercising of key staff. Support development of internal emergency plans and procedures, ensuring key staff are trained and plans are tested to a high standard. Assist with recovery and ensuring the Trust is a learning organisation by analysing lessons identified from internal and external incidents and embedding change Represent the Trust and work closely with external partners in NHS England, our two ICBs and Local Resilience Forums (LRF's) to develop multi-agency emergency plans, training and exercise. Support and monitor training compliance of on-call staff, including assistance with developing training and exercises.
