We are interested in candidates with some Theatre scrub experience , able to demonstrate a commitment to developing yourself and support other colleagues in various specialty. You will act as a role model for others, promoting best practice and delivery of high quality , patient centered care. You will be rotated through the different specialties, including Emergency theatres, learning to become an expert in the patient care; team leading intraoperative /scrubbing and making sure the patient's pathway is maintained throughout . The diversity of the specialties we offer makes this a simulating and engaging place to work in and the department is supported by dedicated and established multidisciplinary team along with practice educator . Interviews: 22nd January 2025 The successful candidates will be part of the clinical team , who ensure that clinical care of the patients, and others service users , receive an efficient/effective quality of care. Within this role you will be expected to work across both the Croydon Elective & Emergency Surgical Centre. The Role Responsibilities' Will Be: Prepare the Clinical area (theatres) to receive patients for surgical procedures. Provide assistance in clinical area for immediate post -operative care when the need arises . Assist in the positioning / preparation of the patient as directed by the surgical team. Ensure that any specimens are correctly labelled and dispatched to the lab in the correct box provided . Ensure all patient information is well documented on the IT system and everything is logged accurately on the correct system in accordance with Trust and departmental policy and procedure .
