Working in a ward-based area in the hospital means you will need to be able to work various shifts over a 24-hour period. Shifts include long days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. As a HCSW you will be working alongside the nursing teams providing fundamental care to patients at the bedside. This will include supporting patients with washing & dressing, assisting patients with eating & drinking and helping patients to mobilise. We are looking for people with a kind, caring and compassionate nature. You must have good communication skills and have competent IT skills.
