We are looking for a Staff Nurse with Acute Care experience to complete our team. We pride ourselves on having an integrated friendly and welcoming team made up of Allied health professionals including Doctors, Nurses and Therapists. We work closely with all the departments and areas within the hospital including with our colleagues from Accident and Emergency, our ambulatory care team and all the ward staff. We currently assess/triage and admit patients with acute medical conditions from a variety of sources – including GPs, the Emergency Department and Outpatients Clinics. Whether you are just starting out on your Nursing career, looking for a change of job, working in a Nursing Home or even returning to practice, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you, our team is both friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care. The acute medical patients can present with a variety of problems, such as sepsis and substance misuse. There is constant interaction between medical and nursing staff, which cultivates a supportive environment. We also work closely with the University of Brighton and offer valuable management placements for nursing students. The successful applicant will be expected to function effectively under pressure without compromising basic standards of care and professionalism.
