The team work collectively and collaboratively with others to ensure ahigh standard of care is provided and are always willing to go above and beyond what is expected when required, andto ensure people with a diagnosed learning disability and their families and carer are supported by delivering high quality clinical care. The service is currently 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. The post holder will work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Community Learning Disability Team, work towards addressing and supporting theneeds of adults with a learning disability who have complex physical and emotional health needs. The team cover a wide geographical area which includes Harrogate, Ripon and a large rural community. We work within the client's home, supported living services and wide range of community facilities. The successful candidate will need to have a genuine desire to improve the mental health and well-being of adults with learning disability and behaviours that challenge. They will work as part of a MDT delivering high quality secondary care and enhancing the community services, working with individuals who require specialist interventions using trauma informed care & a recovery-based approach.
