The successful candidate will be required to work closely with clinical and operational teams to facilitate the optimal use of beds across the organisation. The post demands excellent communication skills , as it involves internal and external reporting to be completed pre and post operational capacity meetings, and excellent customer care service skills. Flexibility and an ability to adapt to change quickly is essential to the role, as is the ability to perform in a high pressure environment. The post involves high level of calls, administration duties , internal and external reporting , booking patient transport and use of hospital IT systems, therefore ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is essential. The post holder will be required to work on a rotational basis including nights weekends and holidays.
