As a Family Therapist they will lead a Family Therapy Clinic with a reflecting team of professionals with Systemic Family Practice Background. They will support other aspects of systemic practice (eg. NVR). Expected travel to Burlington House, Waterloo and Southport Health and Wellbeing Centre. They will be a specialist practitioner in systemic practice and will provide assessment and intervention with young people and their families/carers based on systemic psychotherapy principles and techniques. They will offer systemic consultation to the network informed by systemic principles. They will offer supervision and consultation to the teams and related trainees in agreement with the Clinical lead. They will work autonomously within professional guidelines. They will contribute to and at times lead on aspects of defined research, audit, policy and service development. The services comprise of several multi-disciplinary teams including staff from varied backgrounds, including psychology, psychiatry, social work, nursing and psychotherapy. In addition, our team members are trained in a wealth of different therapeutic interventions and approaches, making the teams truly multi-disciplinary. Sefton CAMHS – post holder will be based at Burlington House, Waterloo. Appointments are offered from Waterloo and Southport bases. Alder Hey are offering excellent benefit schemes; Refer a friend – Alder Hey staff Successful candidates who are introduced to the trust by existing staff members will receive £1000 after completion of six months in post. This will be paid in two parts, £250 in first month pay on commencement in post, and £750 on completion of six months. Accommodation Alder Hey will support the cost of accommodation for up to 3 months from the date of employment (up to £500 per month) The cost is to be paid by the staff member and reclaimed as expenses.
