If so we’d love to hear from you. This is an opportunity for nurses to develop clinically, personally and professionally in a forward thinking and motivated environment. We will provide a 4 week supernumerary period and comprehensive training package, supported by our Educational facilitators. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. We provide highly specialised care for a wide variety of patient groups within the neurosciences directorate. Staff in this friendly and supportive team develop a wide range of advanced skills and knowledge within the 4 main areas of B4 Neurosurgery and C4 Neurology within UHW and West 8 Spinal Rehab and West 10 Neuro Rehab UHL. Within these areas we care for and deliver treatment to patients with neurological disorders, including patients who require emergency care, elective surgery and routine investigations. There may also be opportunities to work within the Neurology, Neuro rehabilitation and Spinal rehabilitation. Applicants are encouraged to visit the unit prior to application and interview.
