As a Healthcare Assistant you’ll support GPs, Nurses and Physiologists, in delivering patient medicals and GP consultations, by administering health function tests. Our Healthcare Assistants are also responsible for the day to day clinical governance tasks. You will perform clinical duties as requested, including but not limited to ECG, lung function, audiology, posture assessment, phlebotomy, chain of custody urine testing and urine analysis. Undertake essential measurements such as height, weight and body composition including BMI and tissue hydration Gain valid informed consent for assessment and treatment interventions in line with national and local policy. Apply infection control measures within the practice according to local and national guidelines. Chaperone as required Report Variances in patient’s condition immediately to a relevant professional.
