The MDT Coordinator is an essential part of the whole team providing high quality and prompt care to cancer patients. The post holder will have specific responsibility for the management of target cancer pathway Radiology referrals. This involves working closely with modality leads and booking teams and liaising with clinicians, speciality Cancer Pathway navigators and members of the Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) throughout the Trust.The main duties of the role will be to cover to provide comprehensive MDT coordination and pathway management and analysis to patients. This is supported by effective pathway monitoring and robust patient tracking list (PTL) management to provide the opportunity to mitigate pathways deviating from timed milestones.
