You will be working alongside an excellent, established multidisciplinary sexual health team to provide a counselling service to our service users on the Sexual Health Pathway, including those living with HIV. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide care for citizens on the Sexual Health Pathway, including those living with HIV. The post holder will be expected to:- Provide brief counselling services in the form of one-to-one support for individuals requiring advice and support about their sexual well-being. Provide support around risk taking sexual behaviour, sexual and gender identity enabling citizens to make safer informed choices and improve psychological wellbeing. One-to-one interventions to reduce the transmission of sexually transmitted infections including HIV especially among vulnerable, at risk groups and particularly those with severe multiple disadvantage. Facilitate onward referrals to main-stream mental health services and psychosexual services as appropriate. About us Thank you for your interest in this role.
