The role of the Mental Health professional in ED is a fast paced and dynamic role. The team provide 24/7 input into the Emergency Department delivering high calibre assessments, formulations, and care plans for individuals. We provide an invaluable expert opinion into the care of individuals in emergency department. We are a PLAN accredited service and the core24 team are part of the well-established wider Liaison Psychiatry service at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. We are also seeking to expand the core24 service that we provide, giving quicker access to individuals across the hospital out of hours. This role is a permanent, full-time vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist / Mental Health Professional wanting to join the established liaison psychiatry emergency department team. The liaison psychiatry service is highly regarded nationally and is accredited through the Psychiatric Liaison Accreditation Network (PLAN). The service consists of highly skilled psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and occupational therapists. The service aims to offer exceptional standards of care to all patients attending Cambridge University Hospital experiencing a comorbid mental health issue. As such, an opportunity has arisen to recruit a dynamic CNS / MHP on a permanent contract who will work 10-hour shifts across a 24/7 rota. "}
