We work closely with our Health Visiting teams. Do you want to make a difference and be part of further developing our service? We currently have term-time only position available. Central London Community Healthcare is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and innovative practitioner to join the School Nursing Service in Merton. The practitioner must be a Registered Nurse or about to complete the nursing training. The School Nursing service comprises of a large skill mix team, which is structured to deliver core and targeted health input through the Healthy Child Programme to all school aged children and their families. The applicant should demonstrate an interest in working in the community as part of a wider team. In addition, they should have a strong public health focus and be fully committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our diverse school aged population. Applicants are required to also have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children and families. Moreover, you will be reliable, manage a caseload and demonstrate willingness to support change in the service delivery. You will have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of an integrated skill mix team.
