Due to HMP Winchester holding remand prisoners and to support the daily regime, we do require staff to work on rota basis and you can be asked to work nights, bank holidays and weekends although if youre looking for flexibility we can discuss this at interview This position is full time 37.5 hours a week and youll receive an annual salary up to £41.265 per annum FTE - depending on experience. Golden Hello - £3,000 (£1,000 in 6 months of service, £1,000 after 12 months and £1,000 after 24 months of service - conditions apply). How will we support you? You will be required to support the delivery of Pharmacy Services which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs. Working on the prison wings, you can expect to be involved in everything from medicine management, administering medications, patient counselling, medicines reconciliation etc. You may be required to participate in certain activities concerning the day-to-day operational management of the unit and as such must ensure that you are trained and competent to take on these additional responsibilities. Youll be able to demonstrate assessment skills, including the undertaking of risk assessments and have sound patient counselling skills, treating patients with respect and dignity at all times.
