MFT has created the opportunity for a full time Adult Safeguarding Practitioner to assist the Senior Specialist Adult Safeguarding Nurse and Matron/ Named Nurses within the trust. The post involves opportunities to contribute to wider practice development and initiatives surrounding adult safeguarding. Applicants should have experience of working with situations that may present challenges for patients and staff and have an understanding of the national and local issues involved in safeguarding adults. A proven ability to engage in effective multi-disciplinary teamwork is required as is some experience of working with multi-agency partners. The post holder will work closely with the Adult Senior Specialist Safeguarding Nurse and Named Nurse in working to conform to the mandatory and statutory frameworks to ultimately improve the outcomes for adults at risk across the MFT footprint.
