There is 2 Part Time positions available 27 Hours - Mon 0800-1600, & Tues, Thurs & Friday 1500-1800 and Alternate Weds & Sat 7.5 hours 30 Hours - Monday to Friday 0730-1330 The successful candidate will providing a focused administration service within the Clinical Administration Inpatients Department. We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic, and motivated ward administrators for our fast paced and friendly Inpatient Team to help ensure adequate coverage of duties across a defined group of wards and departments, . You will be working to ensure the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, dealing with patients’ medical notes and being responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into our PAS system for the purposes of patient care and data quality You will be required to work in close contact with patients, relatives and a multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, physiotherapists or pharmacists amongst other professionals. You will be one of the first faces our patients and relatives will see when they first walk into our hospital, and you will have to deal with queries face-to-face, on the phone and via email. For this reason the post holder will have excellent communication and spelling skills alongside the ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure. Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
