AAA Programme Manager, Band 7 (15 hours a week) The overall purpose of the Gloucestershire Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme (GAAASP) is to enable the early detection of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm in order to save lives. The post holder will be responsible for the implementation and day-to-day operational management of the Abdominal Aortic Screening Programme. The post holder has autonomy to act in respect of managing the programme locally and works independently and leads on a number of initiatives supporting the AAA screening programme, including giving direction and support to clinical research, promoting the benefits of the programme and seeking future funding opportunities. The Programme Manager will ensure that all personnel and services that contribute to the programme are co-ordinated across organisational boundaries, and meet performance standards and QA requirements. The AAA Programme Manager will co-manage the service alongside our current Programme Manager as a job share role. The Programme Managers are responsible for the day to day running and quality of the screening service provided for Gloucestershire and Swindon patients. The post holder will work independently and lead on initiative to support the programme involving research, promoting the benefits of the programme and seeking future funding opportunities. The Programme Manager will ensure there are robust systematic information systems for invitation and call/recall of patients for surveillance. To audit and report any serious incidents, submit annual reports and ensure patient care records are stored in compliance with GDPR regulations. "}
