The Post The People, Solutions and Experience are a team within the Human Resources and Workforce Development Department, and we aim to provide an excellent service in all aspects of employment, from prior to commencement of employment and throughout the employment lifecycle of all staff. This includes providing a wide range of professional services such as recruitment, terms and conditions of service and policy, advice and guidance. We currently have a 12 month Fixed term / Secondment and part time opportunity within our Recruitment team: Duties Of The Job Role Include Posting adverts to the Job Train system Assisting Hiring Managers with shortlisting Ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed in line with policy Carrying out eligibility to work checks on applicants On-boarding candidates onto our HR system (eESS) Issuing employment contracts to candidates Dealing with incoming recruitment queries through our call handling portal Service Now Various Other Ad-hoc Recruitment Administration Duties As Required Liaising with Hiring Managers and Candidates throughout the process The Candidate We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, combined with excellent organisational and time-management skills to join the team. You should also have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, customer service environment and possess good decision-making skills. A good understanding of HR practices and a professional, confident and flexible approach is essential to balance the needs of the customers with the requirement to adhere to policy and process. Experience in dealing with the end-to-end recruitment process is desirable. You should be working towards full Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Accreditation or have an equivalent level of experience in a multi-disciplined human resources environment. Additionally, you should have experience of HR systems and be computer literate with standard Microsoft packages. Working Pattern Part Time - 2 days per week at 7 hours, 24 minutes per day It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
