The postholder will be supported to develop detailed planning and co-ordination skills for bespoke protocols of care, in collaboration with national and international care services. The post also offers the opportunity to develop highly specialised skills and knowledge including venepuncture, donor screening and informed consent procedures. The post holder will be empowered to gain independence in managing their unique cohort of children over time, within the environment of a supportive team. Effective communication and excellent organizational skills are essential. Demonstrable evidence of supporting and teaching patients/families and other staff is desirable, but training will be provided as needed.
