We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Receptionist to join our Emergency Department. The role is very interesting, varied and busy and the successful candidate will benefit from being based in a supportive environment with friendly colleagues. At Barts Health, we enable flexible working patterns where possible. ED Reception is a 24-hour service 7 days a week and all staff are expected to work a mixture of days, lates and nights. Shifts are 12 hours and the shift times are 07:00 -19:00, 10:00-22:00 19:00-07:00. We have a fixed rota in place where staff work a mixture of the above shifts on a 4 shifts on 4 shifts off basis. You will be expected to work weekends and bank holidays if rostered to work. Provide an efficient and comprehensive admin service to our busy Emergency Department maintaining a high professional standard at all times, ensuring confidential and effective support is provided to ensure the patients are admitted and discharged in a timely manner.
