You will be able to identify and implement service improvements, to help reduce delays and enhance efficiency of the wider services . Applicants will require experience in leading teams, demonstrate some relationship management skills and experience working in administrative services. You will be passionate about developing and improving the service and will work with other service managers to develop the service in line with new directions. We have a vacancy for a Service Manager in our Community Care Co-ordination Administration Services based at Milford hospital. Do you have previous management or team lead skills? Or are you looking for a development opportunity as a band 4 to develop into a band 5 role? As our Administration Service Manager you will provide leadership, management and support for our administration team. You will ensure the team delivers the required administration services to the CCC and clinical services daily, working with both administration and clinical staff. You will use your leadership skills to develop a cohesive team culture,that embraces positive thinking and development. As the service manager you will lead by example and will take an active role within the team processing referral calls and undertaking other administration tasks, you will need good IT skills to deliver this role. You will have opportunity to use a variety of people management skills within the role. This is a busy and fast paced role as we are never certain how many referrals we receive per day or the scope of the patients health needs .You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and keep track of unfinished tasks, so will you need good personal organizational skills. You will be working closely with our other service managers as well as our clinical & administration staff. Candidates will need to be forward thinking and have a problem solving approach, with excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
