Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated care organisation which aims to provide high quality, safe and effective health and social care and we have an exciting opportunity available within our Therapy Team. We are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist, with experience to provide Physiotherapy input on the ward at Totnes Hospital. As required you will also support the Community Physiotherapy team, including running Strength and Balance Groups The Community Hospital ward is a 18 bed unit and the Therapy team provides assessment and rehabilitation to people with a range of medical conditions. The post holder will manage the caseload and delegate to support workers as appropriate. They will take an active role in service development. They will support a Trainee Assistant Practitioner through their training. The post holder will be well supported by senior staff as well as the Community Therapy Team. There will be an opportunity to supervise support workers and students. There are excellent CDP training opportunities, including Physiotherapy peer support groups including Clinical Interest Groups and training from the South Devon Health Services training Team. There is a voluntary system to work on the ward on Bank Holidays. "}
