The unit supports young people aged 13 to 18 who are experiencing severe emotional and mental health difficulties. We have two wards, The Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit or PICU which has 10 beds. And Longview Ward. The General Adolescent Unit which has 15 beds. This position is for Longview Ward General Adolescent Unit. The unit is very proud to have an extensive Multi-Disciplinary Team consisting or Psychologists, Family Therapists, Psychotherapists, Drama and Art Therapists and teachers. We also have a very experienced medical team. The school is on site and our education centre has an Outstanding Ofsted Report. There are many training opportunities for you to further your career within the NHS. And you will be well supported by the team here. Main duties of the job Supporting the young people with their activities of daily living. Taking young people on leave Note writing and reporting any concerns to the nursing team.
