Maintaining a safe, clean, well stocked, friendly environment and ensuring the patients are given refreshments and support during their stay. You will receive support from a well established team and we will ensure you have the right training to enable you to meet the needs of the patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a centre of excellence and make a difference to the lives of the children and their families. Being a valued part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Main elements to the role include catering responsibilities, cleaning, ordering of stores, re- stocking of areas and directed by the nurse in charge of the shift. The post holder will have great communication skills and be friendly with our children and families- ensuring a tidy, pleasant department which is conducive to excellent patient care ensuring privacy and dignity is respected at all times and be a welcoming member of the team when the patients arrive in the department.
