Ward F9 at the Wythenshawe site of Manchester Foundation trust are currently looking to recruit a band 6 sister/charge nurse to our elective day case surgical ward.Our general surgical directorate has a reputation for the highest standards of clinical care. Currently the ward looks after inpatient and day case mixed surgical patients with a range of General surgical, Urology, MaxFax, ENT, Breast, Plastics and orthopaedic patients. We are looking for a suitably experienced nurse who is passionate about patient safety and the delivery of exceptional quality care to our elective surgical patients. You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to adopt a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives and colleagues. You will assist the Ward Manager with the operational management for the team working on the Ward. You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement with a particular emphasis on the patient journey and clinical outcomes. "}
