The post will be working in a fast paced environment, which requires a calm but proactive approach with the ability to multi-task whilst being thorough, this will involve administering, liaising and acting in an efficient, effective and high quality manner. The post holder will also be responsible for effectively working within a multi-disciplinary team, accurately inputting data, attention to detail is paramount in this post. Previous experience in administration is essential to this post. Working flexibly, the post holder will ensure that they provide a patient focused service in person and on the telephone for sexual health and HIV patients wanting appointments with and under the care of St Stephen’s Centre and Gazzard Day unit, maintaining a welcoming and pleasant environment for patients at all times. They will ensure that all patient data is entered into the GUM/HIV EPR in a timely and accurate manner. This role will include close liaison with the multidisciplinary team of Medical staff, Health Advisers, as well as other Trust wards and departments to ensure continuity of patient care.
