With support, you will hold a varied caseload, providing assessment and treatments to promote the recovery of our patients in preparation for leaving the acute setting. Involvement of patients and their families/carers in this decision-making process is paramount. As an OT team, we have been exploring changes in working practices to meet the challenges in meeting discharges from the acute setting, including promoting acute rehabilitation and early intervention. You will be working with an established and supportive team of qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff. There is a commitment to support some extended services so flexibility to work weekends or bank holidays on a rota system may be required.
