In this challenging but rewarding role, you will lead and co-ordinate a fast-paced, high quality L eaving C are service for our Dorset young people aged 16 to 25 years old. You will be responsible for the overall performance of your team. I n this role you will be l eading, supporting and developing your team to create and maintain a skilled, motivated and effective workforce . Y ou will also contribute to and deliver a service plan that has clear targets that improve outcomes for our care experienced young people. This is a permanent position Monday to Friday 30 hours a week. The role sits in an existing experienced and stable management structure. The post will report to the Service Manager who is responsible for th is service. A successful applicant will be joining a dynamic , forwarding thinking service who are constantly looking to develop and refine our offer to our young people. As part of this process managers and staff are often apart of or involved in working groups to develop our offer in collaboration with our y oung people, other professionals, our staff and local community stake holders. Experience of leading or previous work within a project is desirable . As a team manager in the service, you will need to be good at communicating and able to form working relationships quickly. Also b e ing able to work collaboratively with others to achieve a positive outcome. The role requires line management responsible for between 5-10 full time equivalent staff. Further Information This is a part time role at 30 hours per week. This post involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults and/or having access to significant information about them.
