If you are an experienced minor injuries qualified Practitioner who is passionate about patient centred care, wanting to enhance your primary care clinical skills and develop your leadership potential then we are the urgent care provider of choice for you! Working as an Emergency Practitioner within our Urgent Treatment Centre, you will be responsible for the assessment of health and clinical needs of our patients, you'll use your minor injuries clinical skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients. This role will include face to face consultations supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, overnights, weekends and bank holidays. Your day to day Carry out consultations with patients - taking a comprehensive patient history; physical examinations and use of your expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnosis. Decide on and carry out treatment, referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate. To either prescribe or work from PGD's as required to support the immediate needs of minor injuries patients presenting in the UTC. Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
