To provide personal assistant support to the Integration Manager within Midlothian Health & Social Care Partnership. Midlothian Health & Social Care Partnership are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant, to provide personal assistant support to a member of the Executive Leadership Team (which includes the Joint Director, Integration Manager, Heads of Service, Clinical Director, Chief Nurse, and Chief AHP). This successful candidate will be required to access both NHS Lothian and Midlothian Council systems. This is an essential requirement of the role to support the Executive Leadership Team in Midlothian Health & Social Care Partnership. The postholder will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to ensure the smooth operation of the department. They are responsible for managing an executive manager’s diary, managing communication into the office, and managing meetings including preparation and circulation of papers, minute-taking, and follow-up. The postholder will also take on general administrative duties to support the executive manager and their service leads as required. It is essential that the postholder has had previous Personal Assistant experience of supporting an Executive Management / Senior Management Team. The post holder will need to be flexible where the service requires in times of increased activity, annual leave, and sickness. They will have great time management, prioritisation, organisational, and communication skills to meet competing demands from different sources to ensure a well-coordinated, efficient, and professional service is provided at all times. The post will require a wide range of communication with internal colleagues and managers, as well as the public and external organisations such as other local authorities, voluntary organisations, private companies, and other Health Boards. The post holder will be a mixture of office based within Midlothian and remote working. This post will be within normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
