Act as Mentor/Assessor and preceptor for all learners and support ward staff in their role as assessor/mentor An exciting band 6 opportunity has arisen offering the chance to become part of our dynamic Elective Centre team. Primarily based on the Burnley site you will be required to work flexibly to cover the needs of the service. We are in the process of applying for surgical hub status, which operationally will mean extended theatre lists. We currently provide care for a variety of adult specialities to include, General and vascular surgery, ENT, Max Fax, Orthopaedic, Urology and chronic pain. We also house medical patients under going various investigations. The ward area also provides support during winter pressures, and patients can be stepped down here. We currently open 24 hours Monday to Saturday and require senior cover to facilitate this. The Elective centre is a nurse led unit. Weekend working is subject to capacity and demand.
