Job Summary/Job Purpose: Working as an autonomous practitioner managing patients with highly specialised complex needs. Based in the Newport MSK Physiotherapy Outpatient departments. (Royal Gwent Hospital/St Woolos Hospital). Principally post holders will be part the Newport MSK mainstream service team. There may be opportunities dependant on demand pressures for session release to undertake triage for self-referral, work within Urgent Primary Care and Minor Injuries Unit at the Royal Gwent Hospital. Successful candidates will be expected to provide training, education, supervision and appraisal for staff and students across all musculoskeletal service delivery areas and as part of the role, contribute to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery and support research and innovation agenda. In turn, you will be supported by our service Physiotherapy Clinical Lead physiotherapists, and consultant physiotherapist.
