Important note for candidates - unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and the minimum number of weekly working hours we can accept is 22.5. We are looking for Health Care Assistants who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy on Beechwood Ward at the Evington Centre in the grounds of Leicester General Hospital. The ward provides sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation. The ward is led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. You will have experience of working in health or social care and will be required to complete the Care Certificate if you do not already hold this. The post will provide cover over a twenty-four hour per day, seven day a week rota with shifts being 7.5 or 11.5 hours in length to meet the needs of the service. Full time and part time posts are available. You are welcome to visit one of the wards during the application process to give you an insight to the role.
