We are now seeking to appoint an experienced band 6 (ward junior sister/charge) to partner our multi talented team as we continue to shape our strategy. Ward 12 (Female) is an acute male surgical ward that provides holistic nursing care for a variety of specialties. e.g. HPB, Colorectal and General Surgery. The health care team embraces our nursing strategy for the trust being part of something special, which means being trustworthy, supported, recognized, respected and rewarded. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated experienced nurse with excellent clinical knowledge in surgery to join our team and take a leading role. You will be working in collaboration with the other ward sisters/charge nurse within ward 11 nursing team and there will be an expectation that you will work together to provide the leadership and management for the team. You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement with a particular emphasis on the patient journey and clinical outcomes. You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and the wider MDT.
