The Tayside Continence Advisory & Treatment Service (CATS) is a small nurse led service which provides assessment, support and treatment for people experiencing continence problems. A vacancy has arisen for an individual to provide administrative support to the Continence Advisory and Treatment Service to ensure the smooth running of the department and assist in maintaining the client database. The successful applicant should have relevant experience working as Administrative Assistant or equivalent. Word processing & IT skills are essential. You must have good verbal and written communications skills as well as a pleasant customer care manner in order to work as part of our team. The workload is generated by team needs and is therefore of a varied nature requiring an Administrative Assistant who is both flexible and responsive. The service works over the three localities of NHS Tayside. This post will be based at Wallacetown HC, Dundee but the post holder must be willing to travel across Tayside if necessary. You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment. Hours of work are: 25.7 per week over 4/5 days NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
