The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas including working with the acute team (A&E, fracture clinic, rehab gym classes), chronic team, satellites services, hydrotherapy, women's healthand hand therapy providing the opportunity to experience a wide range of MSK physiotherapy specialities. Band 6 MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist 12 month fixed term maternity leave cover, ends 23.5.25 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team within the outpatient physiotherapy service at Southend Hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and hold a Degree in physiotherapy. The candidate will be required to have experience working as a Band 5 physiotherapist and have completed core rotations, including MSK outpatients. We offer physiotherapy to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic MSK conditions, accepting referrals form GP's, orthopaedics, Rheumatology and A&E etc. We are able to offer rotations including general MSK,hydrotherapy, fracture clinic,Rheumatology,Hand Therapy and classes which includes our lower limb rehabilitation class and Escape Pain.
