We are seeking an enthusiastic assistant to work within the Medicine Occupational Therapy team in the trust The aim of Occupational Therapy is to allow individuals to function at their optimum level in daily life. The post holder will contribute to this aim by gathering information and carrying out treatment sessions and interventions under the direction of qualified Occupational Therapists. There is also a requirement to undertake delegated administrative tasks that assist the Occupational Therapists and contribute towards the effective running of the Department. You will have good communication skills, excellent personal management and problem solving skills. You will be able to prioritise your workload independently working under the supervision of the therapists as part of the inter-disciplinary team working. Previous experience in a health care setting would be advantageous. The Department is committed to providing a quality Occupational Therapy service, with regular staff supervision and a comprehensive in-service training programme.
