For more details about this position please see JobDescription.Please note that whilst working with the Care Navigation team the working hours are in shifts, either a Morning or Afternoon, and could involve working up till 20:00. About us We have a welcoming and friendly team of 2 GP Partners, a Business Partner, Salaried GPs, 6 Nurses, and 12 other administration staff. Job description Job responsibilities The duties and responsibilities to be undertakenby members of the practice administration team may include any or all of theitems in the following list. Duties maybe varied from time to time under the direction of the senioradministrator/Partners/Operations Manager, dependent on current and evolving practiceworkload and staffing levels: Opening up/locking up of practice premises and maintaining security in accordance with practice protocols Maintaining the generic email system Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointments system Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations, and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional via the Care Navigation template Make every patient contact count (To be explained further) Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail Taking messages and passing on information using the various systems of communication as appropriate Filing and retrieving paperwork Processing two week wait documentation as required Processing repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team member and associated healthcare agencies and providers Clearing and re-stocking of consulting rooms as required Providing clerical assistance to practice staff as required from time to time, including word/data processing, filing, photocopying, scanning and workflow Arrange patient transport/Ambulance where necessary Expedite appointments/tests as required Provision of refreshments for staff and visitors as required Keeping the reception area, notice-boards and leaflet dispensers tidy and free from obstructions and clutter Work with the Workflow team or Secrateries three days per week Any other reasonable request from the Partners or management team Job description Job responsibilities The duties and responsibilities to be undertakenby members of the practice administration team may include any or all of theitems in the following list.
