The mental health treatment requirement team will provide psychological assessments and interventions to people coming into contact with the criminal justice system. The team with support of criminal justice partners and colleagues aims to divert people away from the criminal justice system as well as short custodial sentences and reduce reoffending via improving access to psychological interventions by addressing underlying unmet needs.
